Marie Doro was an actress in the early silent film era. She was born on May 25, 1882, and passed away on October 9th, 1956.
She was often cast in light feminine roles, but those who spoke of her always mentioned her wittiness and intelligence. She spent time in Europe making movies, and when in London she toured with the, at the time, unknown Charlie Chaplin.
In total, she was in 18 movies, that we know of, though many are lost to time. She died of heart failure at age 75.
